Grange Country House Holiday Cottages - Lucy’s at the Grange

Lucy's at the Grange is a detached bungalow designed around a single storey, which means bedrooms, bathrooms and the main living space are all on the same level. Walk in to an open-plan room anchored by a woodburner, with a kitchen to one side fitted for proper cooking, and patio doors opening onto an enclosed lawn. Two of the four bedrooms have ensuite showers; the other two share a bathroom with both bath and shower. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included; initial logs for the fire come with the property, with extra available for £5 per basket.

Eight people can stay comfortably across the bedrooms: two kingsize beds (one with its own ensuite), and two sets of single beds. The property sits in landscaped grounds with a shared sitting area and parking for four cars. There is a stream in the grounds about 100 yards away. One dog is welcome. The cottage works well for extended families or groups marking an occasion or exploring the Lake District; Cockermouth is the nearest town.
