Jose’s at the Grange

A first-floor apartment carved from a stone-built cottage, Jose's at the Grange sits on landscaped grounds with views across the countryside towards Loweswater Lake. The space is open-plan: a living area with sofa bed and television, a dining area, and a kitchen with electric oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher. A separate bedroom has a double bed; the shower room includes a heated towel rail. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all included, and you can use the owner's washing machine. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

Loweswater lies in a wooded valley in the Vale of Lorton, a short walk from the cottage. The location suits walkers and cyclists exploring the Lake District's lower fells—Low Fell, Blake Fell and Gavel Fell lie to the west, Melbreak to the south—as well as those tackling more demanding routes. The area is known for its wildlife: buzzards, kestrels, ospreys and red squirrels are regularly spotted. There is private parking for two cars on site, including an electric charging point, and a garden with a sitting area. The property does not allow smoking.
