Halls Bank Cottages - Stackgarth is a three-bedroom, three-bathroom property sleeping six on the edge of Wigton, within easy reach of several worthwhile destinations. The Solway Coast lies four miles away, with long stretches of beach ideal for walking and the harbour towns of Allonby, Silloth and Maryport offering cafés, pubs and local shops. Cockermouth and the northern fells are also accessible for day trips.
The cottage is arranged on a single level: a living room and kitchen-diner with patio doors opening to the garden, utility room, and three bedrooms with ensuite or shared bathroom facilities. Bedrooms are furnished with zip-and-link beds that can be configured as doubles or singles. Essentials including electricity, wi-fi, heating, bed linen and towels are provided. A hot tub is available for private hire, and there is a heated swimming pool on-site (five metres by twelve metres, one metre deep) which can be booked privately or used on a shared basis; Arkleby Leisure is also nearby. Off-street parking for two cars is available, and the property suits families and groups. Smoking is not permitted. One well-behaved pet is welcome.

Absolutely stunning "home from home" we stayed in Beckside for 4 nights and I really wish I didn't have to come home! Set in beautiful, scenic surroundings, this cottage has everything you need and more! The cottage is wheelchair friendly and has fab accessibility in the outdoor areas too without being "clinical" Private hot tub and shared swimming pool/sauna/jacuzzi was amazing. The onsite animals were an added bonus. Its not everyday you can wake up to cows in your back yard! Fell in love with the place and with 'Tilly Cat' who visited us often to curl up in a warm spot. Carole, our host was on hand for anything we needed/wanted and is so warm, welcoming and friendly. Chatting to her, felt like I'd known her years. Lovely, lovely lady and goes above and beyond to make your stay as fabulous as it can be. Lots to do in the local areas, although we did much of nothing but relax and recharge! We can't wait to return. This is a real gem of a place!
