Burnside Park sits in the northern Lake District, within reach of Keswick and positioned for exploring Derwentwater, Catbells, Skiddaw and Whinlatter Forest. The lodge itself occupies one level, accessed via four steps, with an open-plan living area that includes a kitchen, dining space and lounge, all opening onto a terrace. There's a private balcony overlooking a stream running through the grounds.
Three bedrooms and two bathrooms sleep six: the first bedroom has a double bed and an ensuite shower, while bedrooms two and three each contain two single beds served by a separate shower room. The kitchen is equipped for cooking, with electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included. A pub is within a mile's walk. Car parking for two is on site, and the property is no-smoking. The grounds contain streams and drops, so care is needed, particularly with younger children.
