About Riverside Escape
Walkers and cyclists have plenty on their doorstep here, with Derwentwater and the River Derwent both close by along with routes suited to both. Golf, horse riding, watersports and a choice of pubs, restaurants and other entertainment are all within easy reach too, making Riverside Escape a handy base for a Cumbria stay whatever you fancy doing in the day.
The B&B itself is adults only, with en-suite bathrooms, drinks in the room and free WiFi throughout. A cooked breakfast is included, and reception is staffed around the clock, so arrival times are never an issue. Free on-site parking makes it easy to come and go for days out around the Lake District.
Rooms look out towards the surrounding mountains, giving guests a proper sense of the fells even before heading out for the day. Set on Crosthwaite Road in Keswick, it puts the town centre, the lake and the wider countryside all within comfortable reach.

Beautiful BnB located 10 minute walk from town centre and a bonus Free parking. We stayed 3 nights bed and breakfast, the breakfast was superb. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming. The bed was super comfortable and the room was huge with ciuch anda mini fridge. Couldn't falt a thing. Would recommend staying here if in Keswick and we absolutely stay here again.

Myself and my partner stayed at Riverside Escape in Keswick, the most charming B&B and honestly, it was one of the best we've ever stayed at. The Breakfast was out of this world, beautifully presented, flawless service, and served with such warmth. Martin and his wife were so nice, they made us feel at home from the second we walked in. Room was spotless, cozy, zero fuss and thoughtfully put together. If you're looking for genuine kindness and top notch everything, this place is it. Five stars, no question, coming back next time. Stayed for 3 nights and everything was superb. The location was great, just a 5-10 minute walk from the centre. The room was fantastic with a very comfy bed, tea and coffee making facilities with a fridge. There is a really good choice of breakfast, which was delicious. The hosts were really friendly and helpful, definitely recommend a stay here.

We have just returned from a week at Riverside. The owners, Jana and Martin are both very welcoming and friendly, the B&B is located within a 5 minute walk of Keswick and having parking is really good. The room was clean and comfortable, the mini fridge is a very nice touch. Breakfast is pre ordered the night before, which means it's freshly cooked too order and reduces food waste, it was very tasty and there is a good amount of options available. The scrambled eggs are very tasty! This is a great b&b, I would highly recommend it.
