This is a single-bedroom glamping pod designed around comfort rather than camping roughness. The entire space is on one level: a living area with sofa bed and television, a kitchen corner with hob and microwave, a proper double bedroom, and a shower room. Bed linen, towels, wifi and heating are all included. The pod sits on an acre of landscaped grounds shared with other on-site properties, with private parking for two cars.

What sets it apart is the wood-fired hot tub on your own decked area—wood for one soak comes with the booking. The working farm setting means there are horses around and the option to arrange stabling if you're bringing your own. Dogs stay free. The nearest Lake District attractions are easily reached by car. Note that the water supply comes from a spring on the property, and smoking is not permitted indoors.
