New Park Farm Cottages - Church Cottage

Church Cottage is one of several conversions around New Park Farm in Cumberland, a working farm in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The cottage itself contains three bedrooms—a kingsize, two singles, and a third single suitable for flexible sleeping—plus one bathroom, sleeping up to four people. The ground floor holds the bedrooms and bathroom; upstairs is an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining and sitting areas, with oil heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi all included.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. An external utility room contains a washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside, there is a picnic table and barbecue for your use, a play area with slide and swings for children, and a bike store. The wider site has a shared games room with pool table, table tennis and table football. You have your own parking on site. The cottage does not permit smoking.

This part of the Lake District sits within easy reach of Keswick and Cockermouth, both roughly ten miles away. Local villages like Caldbeck and Ireby have pubs serving food. Walking country abounds—flower-filled lanes, bridleways, and paths to local waterfalls—and the area is good for spotting red squirrels, deer and birdlife.
