Osprey- Royal Oak House

Keswick sits at the heart of the Lake District, ringed by mountains and packed with outdoor shops, restaurants and pubs. Osprey occupies the first and second floors of Royal Oak House, a converted hotel in the town centre where everything from fell walking to lakeside strolls begins on your doorstep.

The maisonette sleeps four across two bedrooms: one with a kingsize bed and ensuite shower, the second with two single beds and a separate bathroom containing a bath. Upstairs, the living and dining room captures views across to Skiddaw and Whinlatter Forest, while the kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave. Heating, electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are all included. One parking space comes with the property, and no smoking is permitted inside.

The location means Derwentwater and the Theatre by the Lake are reachable in ten minutes on foot, and the town's selection of fell walks, cafes and independent shops lie just outside the door.
