Tarn End

Talkin Tarn Country Park sits on the Cumbrian edge near Brampton, where woodland trails, open water and quiet lanes make for unhurried walking country. Tarn End occupies this landscape as a converted stone building with its own parking, set back from the main approach and surrounded by landscaped grounds that feel genuinely private despite being part of the wider park.

The apartment spreads across two floors. Downstairs is an open-plan living area where the kitchen, dining space and lounge merge together, with large glass doors opening onto a terrace that overlooks the tarn itself. The kitchen has everything needed for proper cooking – oven, hob, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer – while the lounge has a smart TV and electric fire. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with an ensuite; both have zip-and-link super king beds that can be split into singles if needed, and both have smart TVs. One bedroom has a shower cubicle, the other a full bath. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included. The whole place is yours alone for the duration of your stay, with parking for two cars and a cloakroom downstairs for coats and boots.
