The bolthole
Cumberland
The Bolthole is a semi-detached bungalow built at ground level on a residential street within walking distance of Keswick town centre. From the rear garden, views stretch across to Catbells, Causey Pike, Grisedale Pike and Skiddaw. The setting is quiet but positioned where fell walks begin just five minutes on foot, and the town's shops, cafés and Derwentwater's shore are ten minutes' walk away.
Inside are two bedrooms—one double, one with twin singles—and a bathroom with bath and shower. The living room has a Freeview television, DVD and Blu-ray player. The kitchen/dining room contains an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer, so you can cook and clean properly rather than make do. Gas central heating keeps things warm. Wifi is included, and an extra freezer sits in the garage. Bed linen and towels are provided.
Outside, front and rear gardens have lawns with seating, a picnic table and a barbecue (equipment stored in the garage, which also fits bikes or canoes). Two cars park on the drive, with additional street parking available. One dog is welcome. The property is non-smoking.
