Millom is a small town on Cumberland's coast, sitting at the edge of the Lake District National Park. The Old Court House stands in the town centre, a converted former police station and magistrates' court now furnished as holiday accommodation for up to five. Parking for two cars is on site, and the beach is within walking distance.
The property is arranged over two floors. Downstairs holds a living room with a 58-inch smart TV and high ceilings, a ground-floor bedroom with a king-size bed, another bedroom with three single beds, a shower room, and a utility room with a washing machine and dryer. Upstairs, the kitchen and dining room occupy the first floor, with a smaller seating area off the galleried landing. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, and everything needed to cook properly. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. No smoking throughout.
Millom has shops, pubs and takeaways within reach, and the nearby village of Haverigg has beaches and a children's play area. The RSPB Hodbarrow Nature Reserve, a coastal lagoon formed on a former iron mine site, is close by for walking and birdwatching. The Heritage & Arts Centre is in town if you want something indoors on a wet day.
