The Rowans

Keswick sits within walking distance of some of the Lake District's most distinctive peaks. The Rowans is a two-bedroom bungalow on a quiet residential street, close enough to reach the town on foot but set back from its bustle. A private car park and enclosed garden at the back give you a proper base rather than just somewhere to sleep between walks.

Both bedrooms are on the ground floor: one has a double bed, the other bunk beds suitable for children. There's a shower room, and a combined living and dining space where you can cook proper meals—the kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine. An open plan garden to the side and front catches views across to Latrigg, Grisedale Pike and Skiddaw. Wi-Fi, bed linen and heating are included. One well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking inside.
