Wanderers Rest

Wanderers Rest is a stone-built terraced house right in the heart of Keswick, arranged across three floors with a generous ground-floor layout designed for group living. The living room opens into a large separate dining room, both on the same level, which lets you spread out comfortably whether you're cooking, eating or simply gathering as a group. An enclosed garden with patio sits at the back, useful for drying walking gear as well as sitting outside.

Upstairs there are four bedrooms: a king on the first floor with its own ensuite, twin singles next to the main bathroom, then on the second floor a king and a single. The house is fully equipped for self-catering, with everything from dishwasher to washing machine included, along with wi-fi, electricity, bed linen and towels. One dog is welcome. Note that the staircase is steep and narrow with a lower-than-standard banister and wider-than-usual gaps between rails, so care is needed on these stairs.

The property works well for families or groups wanting to be within easy walking distance of Keswick's shops, pubs and restaurants. Walking routes into the surrounding fells are nearby, and there is roadside parking if you choose to keep the car.
