What visitors say
It seems to be the trend to visit a pumpkin farm around this time of year, and I’d heard that Mr. Pumpkin is the place to go in Derby and it definitely lived up to the hype! We booked our tickets in advance (which I’d strongly recommend). Prices are really reasonable at £2.50 for adults and £1 for children aged 3–15 — great value for a family outing. We booked the 9am slot and were among the first to arrive. Staff were on hand to direct parking, which made things nice and easy. There are plenty of pop-up stalls around the field offering coffee, milk, doughnuts, burgers, soups, and even a bouncy castle. We arrived a bit early so some were still setting up, but it looked like a fun atmosphere once everything got going. The main attraction, of course, is the pumpkin field itself. After scanning your QR code, you grab a wheelbarrow and head out to choose your pumpkins. The kids loved exploring and picking out the different colours and unusual shapes — there are loads of photo opportunities too, from tractors and cars to hay bale seating surrounded by pumpkins (we got some great family shots there!) When it’s time to pay, staff measure your pumpkins using a template, ours were on the smaller side, around £2 each. We finished the morning with some freshly made pumpkin soup, which was absolutely delicious! So glad we went early, as it was getting very busy by 10am. Overall, it was a lovely morning out and we’ll definitely be visiting again next year. 🎃✨

We had the pleasure of catering a private party at Lime Farm a while back and it was a fantastic venue for a celebration. The countryside setting created a really relaxed atmosphere for guests, and the venue worked perfectly for our wood-fired pizza catering setup. There was plenty of space for service and the whole event had a great feel throughout the evening. From our side, everything ran smoothly on the day and it was a pleasure to be part of the event. A lovely Derbyshire venue for private parties and celebrations, and one we’d be happy to return to in the future.

An amazing time pumpkin picking. Never met staff so welcoming who go above and beyond to make sure every one is having a great time. So cheap and so much to do all free of charge. Will definitely be returning and would advise everyone to take a trip there.

We had an amazing time today! There was great selection of pumpkins, food, drinks, and quite few bits and bobs for kids 😀 our favourite thing was Pumpkin Trail - real fun, kids were running like crazy to find the letters! It was our first time at Mr Pumpkin, but surely not last! Thank you 😀
