Premier Inn Derby City Centre Riverlights is a modern, four-storey hotel built in the familiar Premier Inn style, offering 138 rooms on Morledge in the heart of Derby. Its scale and straightforward design make it well suited to both business trips and short city breaks, with the bus station and Cathedral Quarter within easy reach, and Pride Park not far off either.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and free WiFi, along with drinks available in room, and accessible rooms are on offer for those who need them. The on-site restaurant and bar cover breakfast and evening meals, with breakfast in particular singled out as a strong point, and there's a lift serving all floors along with meeting rooms for those travelling on business. Reception is staffed around the clock.
The building itself is generally well kept, though some visitors have noted occasional maintenance niggles here and there. Staff are consistently described as friendly, helpful and professional, which goes some way to smoothing over any such issues. Parking isn't available on site but chargeable parking can be found nearby, and the surrounding area has plenty of pubs, restaurants and entertainment within walking distance.

Probably one of the best Premier Inn ive stayed in. Great location and right next to the shop and restaurants. Easy to get to. Staff where friendly room was amazing. Breakfast was fantastic was a buffet style which is better than the ones that take your order each time you want something. This would be a 5 star all round but not having a car park really let it down. As we where coming for a competition and was getting tanned we brought our own bedding and about 6 big bags with all our food and stuff in and on any other day the 10min walk from the car park wouldn't be that bad as long as wasn't raining but on this occasion it was a bit of a chew on but part from that I recommend staying here.

Outstanding. I've stayed in many Premier Inns (and always like a Premier Inn) but this staff here are incredible. Joyful and exciting energy and go so far for me and the other customers that I witness. Extremely welcomed (hence why I stay here every week and have a choice out of multiple hotels in the whole city). The beds are amazing, the rooms make me feel so relaxed. They make you feel so at home and welcome. Couldn't recommend this Premier Inn much more and baffles me how you wouldn't give this anything than a 5 star rating. Huge thank you for Rylan and Pat in particular out of all the amazing people here who really look after me. Thank you Premier Inn Riverlights.

Stayed here for a week whilst on a course. I took advantage of the meal deal which was good value for money. Food was of a good quality as well. Room was fine but could of done with a bit of repair in places. Staff were very friendly

We absolutely loved our stay here! The manager truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and felt welcome throughout our visit. A special mention must go to George at the bar in the evenings - he really made the whole experience unforgettable with his friendly service and great attitude. We were staying while preforming in a show at the theatre, and after the performance it was always such a pleasure to return and be welcomed back to the bar by the staff, all with warm smiles and great hospitality. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so enjoyable.☺️
