Matlock sits at the gateway to the Derbyshire Dales, close enough to Matlock Bath, the Heights of Abraham, and Chatsworth House for a day trip, yet far enough out to feel properly rural. Honeysuckle Cottage is a converted barn on grounds shared with other holiday properties, where you'll find a children's play area and resident animals—pigs, ponies and chickens among them.
The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms: two doubles and a single upstairs, plus a single downstairs. Ground floor has the kitchen, shower room and an open-plan living and dining space with a multi-fuel burner. You get a car park for three vehicles and an enclosed patio garden with seating. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, along with initial fuel for the burner. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.
A pub is within walking distance. The High Peak and Tissington Trails pass nearby for walking and cycling, with bike storage on site. The property does not permit smoking. Three similar cottages can be booked together if you need space for a larger group.
