Skylark View is a second-floor apartment on Jackson Road in Matlock, arranged across one open-plan level. You arrive into a living space with comfortable seating, a kitchenette with electric cooking, and a dining area—all in one room. Bedroom one is a kingsize with an ensuite bathroom containing a bath and shower. Bedroom two has two single beds served by a separate shower room. The essentials are covered: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included.
The apartment suits groups of up to five who want to explore the Peak District from a base near the town centre. Private parking for two cars is on site, and a bike store is available. There is a pub within a mile. A utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer is shared with other properties in the building. No smoking is permitted inside.
Matlock sits in a wooded river valley and has shops, cafes and restaurants within walking distance. From here you can reach the Heights of Abraham cable car, visit the Peak District Mining Museum, or drive to nearby attractions including Bakewell, Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation, stunning and Mark and Kate have really thought of everything. We were blown away and although it looks lovely and stunning on the website / when advertised it definitely exceeded our expectations. The accommodation is very well thought out and all the furniture / items are quality pieces and it really feels a home away from home. There is access to laundry facilities and the self contained flats really haa everything and you couldn't ask for more. The accommodation is very clean and there was even milk, tea and biscuits left for us on arrival. Absolutely stunning views and superb accommodation you couldn't fault. Mark and Kate have put an information pack of the area in the property. Coming away with friends it's been absolutely loverly being here and couldn't fault the accommodation. We would definitely recommend and stay here again if ever coming to Matlock. The only thing to bare in mind is that it's a first floor property with steps to access and at the top of the village in Matlock up a steep bank. The property doesn't claim to accessible but people need to bare that in mind if they where to book. If we plan to come back to Matlock we would definitely be booking the skylark view flat again. Once again we have a lovely stay and thank you so much. And looking forward to the next time

Very clean. lovely views 🤩 would stay here again. Facilities are amazing. Even had books and games to use after our long walks in matlock. Designated parking available

Stunning views of Matlock, Top notch for cleanliness. Kate and Mark very friendly and very helpful. Worth the money definitely will come again and 100% recommend.
