You enter Manners through a stone staircase to find an open-plan layout on the first floor: living and dining areas flow into a kitchen with electric oven, microwave and dishwasher, while the two bedrooms and shower room complete the space. One bedroom has a four-poster king bed; the other contains two singles. A private hot tub sits on the terrace, available from 8am to 10pm.

Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; the kitchen is equipped for self-catering. One pet is welcome. The grounds contain a children's play area and garden furniture, with ample walking directly from the property. No smoking inside.

Bakewell town centre is close by, with the Central Co-op on Haddon Road nearby for supplies. Check-in is after 4pm, check-out before 10am.

🙅🏼‍♂️ I mean if you want to run a pub kitchen you should at least be able to make some fries. 17.50 for the burger and fries where.. as you can see in the picture. Kids menu 9-ish pound for 4 fish finger and cardboard mash. Lovely staff.

Cannot recommend this pub enough, we were a large group and they accommodated us extremely well, every member of staff who dealt with us from the booking stage to the meal itself were extremely friendly and couldn’t do more for us, and the food arrived promptly and was delicious. Would definitely recommend for a family booking.

Arrived in our campervan for a stopover, greeted straight away by Libby, lovely lady who made a big fuss of our two staffies. After a day around Bakewell, trying the tarts (leave it), we returned for a couple of drinks and a meal each. It was a burger night, both of us had a burger which were really tasty, came with a free side of wings. Both Libby and our waitress Tasha made us feel so welcome. Will stop again.
