The Creamery

The Creamery is a converted barn dating from 1750, retaining original beamed ceilings and stone features throughout. It occupies its own ground floor space within a quiet village setting, with private parking for two cars and gated access to an enclosed garden. One double bedroom and a bathroom with bath and shower are contained in a separate annexe; the living area combines sitting and dining space with an electric woodburner. A fully functional kitchen includes an electric cooker, fridge-freezer and washer-dryer, so you can manage everything from cooking a full meal to cleaning clothes. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and electricity are all covered in the price.

Outside, there is a large enclosed courtyard with seating and a BBQ, plus a summer house in the garden itself. Beyond that, a gate opens onto shared grounds with mature trees. The village pub stands a ten-minute walk away. Ashbourne, the nearest market town, lies three miles off and has shops, restaurants and further pubs; Dovedale is equally close. Carsington Water, three miles in the other direction, offers water sports and walking. The Peak District's larger attractions—Chatsworth, Bakewell, Matlock, Buxton—are all within short driving distance. One dog is welcome at no extra cost. No smoking inside, please.
