The Garden House

The Garden House is a converted barn where you enter into a ground-floor kitchen and dining room with everything needed for self-catering: electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine. Upstairs, a living room with Freeview TV and DVD player leads to a bedroom with a kingsize bed, and a shower room with cubicle shower. Night storage heaters, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. The property sleeps two and comes with a cot and highchair if needed.

Outside, a south-facing garden with patio, sitting-out area and barbecue opens onto 5½ acres of shared grounds to explore. There is parking for one car on site. No smoking is permitted. Carsington Water lies a mile and a half away, offering nature trails, a wildlife sanctuary, water sports, cycle hire and a pub with restaurant. The Tissington Trail for cycling and walking is four miles off. Kedleston Hall and Dove Dale are within six miles. Ashbourne's shops and pubs are ten minutes' drive, and Alton Towers is twelve miles away.
