About Feather Down - Billingsmoor Farm
You may never have to choose between comfort and wilderness again at Feather Down Farm – Billingsmoor Farm, a dog-friendly glampsite set on a 400-acre organic dairy farm near Silverton. Accommodation comes in stylishly laid-out safari tents sleeping up to 10, with proper beds, feather duvets, well-equipped kitchens, private flushing loos and outdoor hot showers. There's no electricity or wifi (pre-warn the teens), so woodburning stoves and oil lamps provide warmth and romantic lighting, while covered decking keeps you dry when Devon weather turns.
Site owners Jayne and Robert lead farm walks and milking parlour visits, and a weekly pizza oven fires up alongside the honesty shop stocked with Devon produce. Optional hot tub hire adds extra indulgence. You'll need to wheelbarrow your kit from the car park to your pitch, but with spectacular scenery all around and a tiny, peaceful site tucked into true farmland, it's a small price for this kind of rural escape.

We absolutely loved Billingsmoor farm. Jayne and Robert are great hosts. You have everything you need here for a comfortable camping trip. The shower and toilet facilities were a well kept luxury, the honesty shop was well stocked and there was a fridge , freezer , washing machine and a dryer available also. The pitches are a great size with the most incredible views. We are already planning a return visit next June. An absolute gem of a find!

We had a fantastic time here with the kids for a few days at Easter. Glamping tents are really well kitted out and the staff were brilliant. Highly recommended
