The Shippen sits in Berrynarbor, a village at the foot of Sterridge Valley with a shop, post office and pub all within ten minutes on foot. Combe Martin's beach and rock pools lie two miles away; Woolacombe's three-mile sandy shore is eight miles off. From here you can walk onto the Southwest Coastal Path, explore Exmoor's moorland, or drive to Ilfracombe for its theatre and leisure facilities, Lynton and Lynmouth with their cliff railway, or the north Cornish coast.
This is a ground-floor conversion with everything in one open space: a living area with Freeview TV, a kitchen with electric cooking, and a dining zone. The bedroom has a double bed; the shower room includes a walk-in shower. A covered sitting area with garden furniture opens onto the property, and there is parking for one car on site. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included, along with a welcome pack. No smoking.
The location suits anyone wanting coastal walks and beach time without being on a busy seafront, or those planning to base themselves for exploring Exmoor and the dramatic cliffs and villages of the North Devon coast.
