We have now stayed 3 times in the Stabal Cottage and we cannot recommend this place enough. The location is fantastic if you want good views and peace/quiet although you do need to go a short distance for shops etc in the car. The owners are lovely and very accommodating and it's always welcome to have a chat with them. The prices we find are very reasonable for what you get. Reasonably comfortable beds and sofas and the low doors/stairs are not bad once you get used to them. They are what makes the property very cosy. Perfect for the jet spotters as they fly low within stone throwing distance of the property. Will be looking to book again soon.

Perfect cottage in a great location. This cottage was ideal for a family of 4. We planned so many days out and it was a great comfort to come back to this cosy accommodation and regroup. My daughter was so excited to be a stones thrown from Cad West to see the many planes flying through Mach Loop. For a cottage that appears to be in the middle of nowhere, you're strangely close to so much. We were prepared for driving everywhere and the roads were superb, everyone we came into contact with were incredibly friendly including our hosts.

We had a week's stay in one of the pods. The pod was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfy, kitchen had clean crockery and cutlery. The welcome basket was great and we enjoyed the Welsh goodies. Rhian is a good host and accomodative with our check in/check out.

An absolutely perfect stay in these gorgeous, warm and cosy pods. Everything has been thought of here from delicious snacks, to playing cards, to a well fitted out kitchen and underfloor heating. And outside - views to die for! We walked up Cader Idris which was so easy to access from the pods. An incredible walk with the most beautiful views - but not for the faint hearted! Rhian was unbelievably kind and gave us extra bedding and ice for drinks and tips on where to go. Thank you so much Rhian - we can't wait to come again to see the Mach loop!
