About Torrent Walk Campsite and Bunkhouse
Tucked near Dolgellau, Torrent Walk Campsite and Bunkhouse delivers well-equipped pitches – grass and hardstanding options, most with electric hook-up, plus water and drainage on many – alongside spotless shower and toilet facilities that visitors consistently praise. The helpful staff and family-friendly vibe add to the appeal, and with campfires allowed and dogs welcome, it's a flexible base for exploring Snowdonia's trails and market towns. There's even a heated bunkhouse with private rooms if you fancy a break from canvas.
Some pitches can be sloped, so it's worth checking when you book, but the good value and year-round opening make this a solid, no-fuss choice for a Gwynedd adventure.

What visitors say
Been here a couple of times now and always found it a great place to stay. The lady is very welcoming when talking to her. The self check in is a great system and the office is there if you need anything. My pitch was a little water logged this time do they happily moved me to a suitable pitch. Toilets, showers are always clean and warm. There's extra showers on busy days. I only just realized once I packed up, there's also a bike jet wash! I'm not sure if it still works but I'll definitely try next time I'm there. Pitches are great you can go either on the hill for some privacy or on the field for easier access to toilets. Starbucks and fully stocked petrol station is 1min down the country lane which is super handy.

Busy site. A lot of vehicle movements, driving too fast and parking anywhere blocking access to facilities at times. Noisy children playing, riding bikes and shouting after the 23:00 quiet time as well as the barking dogs whose owners made no attempt to quieten them. Mostly younger adults staying in the on-site accommodation or tents. Traffic noise from the near A470 was noticeable. Not ideal for older people wanting a peaceful stay. Be better if they kept the Motorhomes separate from the Tents. The campers on the next pitch moved their kit onto our pitch and were just about to light a firepit only a few feet from our Motorhome... ridiculous. Inadequate facilities for the number of visitors and the stench in the toilet/shower room was stomach turning. Access road is very narrow and steep with branches scraping the side of our Motorhome. I don't recommend this site.

We were treated to a stay here for our anniversary and have been delighted so far with how nice the site and accommodation is. Right from checking in staff have been friendly and helpful. We noticed our gas bottle, to heat the hot water was empty, within minutes of mentioning this to staff on site it was sorted. The facilities are very clean and well maintained and the location is perfect for outdoor lovers like ourselves. We will certainly be returning in the future and will recommend to friends and family.

This is a fantastic camp site. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Showers very powerful and hot. Everywhere was Spotlessly clean. Free WiFi was faultless. My first experience of camping was made so enjoyable. I ended up staying an extra 2 nights didn’t want to leave. The torrent walk along the waterfalls was outstanding just a couple of minutes walk away.
