About Torrent Walk Bunkhouse
Dolgellau sits at the gateway to Snowdonia, surrounded by mountains and walking routes. Torrent Walk Bunkhouse is a glamping and static lodge site just outside the town, offering pods and lodges as alternatives to traditional camping. The pitches come with electric hook-ups, water and drainage connections, though some slope noticeably. Showers and toilets are well-maintained and spotless.
The site has a family-friendly feel, with staff described as helpful and attentive. Accommodation is well-equipped and represents decent value for the area. The main drawback is the uneven ground on some pitches, which may affect how level your setup sits. What visitors say
Looked at a few sites, but there's quite a few who don't allow roof tents for some strange reason. No issues here, there's everything on this site, all welcome. This site is ideal, from its location to the amenities it has almost everything. Staff are pleasant and helpful and keep the site clean and tidy. It's a busy site so be prepared to wait for the showers in a morning but that's nothing to stress about. Overall its a great site, we only stayed a couple of nights this time but would definitely use it again.

I was only camping here with a tent so cannot comment on rooms but variety is certainly for every taste. I was impressed with premium quality and cleanliness of facilities. Kitchen area is also great with fridges and even laundrette. Very suitable for long term camping. Most pitches are electric. Great location and beautiful trails for hikers. Host was also very accommodating and upgraded our pitch with no nitpicking about the price difference. We are definitively coming back again!

Busy site. A lot of vehicle movements, driving too fast and parking anywhere blocking access to facilities at times. Noisy children playing, riding bikes and shouting after the 23:00 quiet time as well as the barking dogs whose owners made no attempt to quieten them. Mostly younger adults staying in the on-site accommodation or tents. Traffic noise from the near A470 was noticeable. Not ideal for older people wanting a peaceful stay. Be better if they kept the Motorhomes separate from the Tents. The campers on the next pitch moved their kit onto our pitch and were just about to light a firepit only a few feet from our Motorhome... ridiculous. Inadequate facilities for the number of visitors and the stench in the toilet/shower room was stomach turning. Access road is very narrow and steep with branches scraping the side of our Motorhome. I don't recommend this site.

This is a fantastic camp site. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Showers very powerful and hot. Everywhere was Spotlessly clean. Free WiFi was faultless. My first experience of camping was made so enjoyable. I ended up staying an extra 2 nights didn’t want to leave. The torrent walk along the waterfalls was outstanding just a couple of minutes walk away.
