Dolgellau sits at the edge of Snowdonia National Park, within walking distance of the historic market town's independent shops, cafés and pubs, and just 15 minutes by car from the beaches at Barmouth and Fairbourne. Trails for walkers and cyclists thread out from here into surrounding hills, or you can tackle Cadair Idris for more serious terrain. Cae'r Dderwen is a detached house positioned to make the most of this location, with private parking and gardens that back onto woodland.
The property sleeps ten across five bedrooms: a kingsize with ensuite shower, another kingsize, a double, two singles, and a single with a futon. Three bathrooms serve the house. Downstairs, two separate living areas include one with a smart TV and wood-effect stove opening to the garden, plus a games room with snooker table. The dining room adjoins a kitchen equipped for real cooking, with a range cooker, gas hob, dishwasher and American-style fridge. Bed linen, towels, wifi and heating are included; you'll also find a travel cot and highchair if needed.
One well-behaved dog is welcome. The house is non-smoking throughout.
