Church House Cottage dates from the mid-18th century and retains the character of its age—exposed beams, stone walls, and a wood burner in the main living space. The cottage sits within the conservation area of Stour Provost, a quiet village in Blackmore Vale, with an enclosed private garden beyond. One well-behaved dog can stay free of charge.
The ground floor is open-plan, combining living and dining areas with a kitchen equipped for self-catering: electric oven and hob, dishwasher, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, two double bedrooms and a bathroom with a roll-top bath and shower attachment connect via steep wooden stairs. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included; the initial fuel for the wood burner is also covered. The rear garden has a sitting area, barbecue and firepit, though there are four steps within it. The cottage sleeps four and is yours alone for the duration of your stay. No smoking is permitted. Children under eight are not accommodated. A pub lies less than a mile away by car or a longer walk across fields; Shaftesbury is about five miles north.
