What visitors say

Cracking, well-priced campsite. I was part of a group with six small tents, and there was plenty of room for us. Decent toilets. There were 3 shower cubicles in a lockable room in the mens toilet block. I'm not sure this is the best arrangement, as if 1 person is showering, they can block anyone else. But them it works well for families, I guess. Sinks for hand and face washing, and a very powerful (noisy!) hand drier. Fair washing-up area. Firepits available, managed by the site managers young son - a very chatty, friendly young chap. There seemed to plenty of electric pitches, and a trio of shepherds huts for hire too. Would happily use again.

Campsite can be a little hard to find, so make sure you have a good sat nav. Pitch was booked online in advance. Unlike most sites you are not allocated a specific pitch but are allowed to walk around and find one you like. ehu available if required. Facilities clean and well maintained.

Overall our stay was good the owner was friendly and accommodating, the pitches are a good size and very reasonable prices, also you can hire a fire pit with all the accessories which is a nice touch. Only reason this is 4 stars and not 5 is the facility’s are not cleaned properly. Side note: this camp site is next to a farm we could hear noise from the animals most of the time.

Great location close to the Jurassic Coast. Friendly and helpful staff. Quite wobbly sanitary block. Toilets okay, little privacy in the shower area. Now there are a couple of separate showers and you are only hidden from view by a curtain. The area to get dressed is communal. Not really an issue, but a good-to-know. Spacious, open places for tents.
