The open grassy pitches are non-electric and straightforward—perfect if you're planning to spend your days beachcombing, coastal walking or exploring the surrounding countryside rather than lounging around camp.
Facilities are simple but adequate: flushing toilets and a free hot shower block keep things civilised. Well-behaved dogs and carefully-tended barbecues are welcome. Wool itself offers a convenience shop, station (for trips to Bournemouth or Weymouth) and a pub serving local ales.
This is a no-frills, family-friendly base that works hardest for campers who value tranquillity and want easy access to Dorset's big-ticket natural attractions without the bells and whistles of a more commercial site.

I recommend it to camping enthusiasts. It's a quiet place, perfect for children, with plenty of greenery and a small farm with animals, which made the stay even more enjoyable. As for the toilet facilities, they didn't interfere with other campers, even though it was high season. I recommend Durdle Door – the most beautiful views and the best Cornish ice cream are there too! The weather was hot, except at night (it was quite chilly).

Amazing little farm campsite. Simple and charming just lile we like them :) They keep an area for cyclist and hikers in the back of the camping which is very nice. I strongly recommend.

Nice small and quiet campsite. There are two showers and two toilets. Some of the pitches are in the sun in the morning but in the shade in the afternoon which is perfect in a heatwave.
