We recently stayed at Roversidelakes Campsite in the beautiful bell tent, The Island, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by nature, peace, and breathtaking scenery. The campsite is clearly run with love and care by a wonderful family who make every guest feel genuinely welcome. Every aspect of the site is exceptionally well maintained, with impeccably clean toilets and shower facilities that exceeded all expectations. One of the absolute highlights was the homemade wood-fired pizzas. If you’re lucky enough to visit when they’re available, you’re in for a treat! Watching younger members of the family deliver fresh pizzas straight to your pitch on golf buggies adds such a unique and charming touch that perfectly captures the warm family atmosphere of the campsite. For anglers, the fishing is fantastic. The picture-perfect main lake is home to some stunning carp, with fish topping 30lb, making it a dream destination for both experienced and casual fishermen alike. The campsite also has a lovely collection of farm animals, including some truly delightful alpacas that quickly became a favourite part of our stay. Roversidelakes is one of those rare places that feels like a hidden gem. Whether you’re looking to relax, reconnect with nature, enjoy great fishing, or simply spend quality time with family, this special place has it all. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already planning our return visit. A truly wonderful campsite that deserves every success and we couldn’t recommend it more highly.

A large group of us stayed in a wonderful pitch which was surrounded by tall grass giving it the feel of a private enclosed space. We were able to be together in tents/a camper van and a caravan. The grounds are spectacular with particular attention to re’-wilding. The owners are wonderful - very approachable and helpful. The facilities are clean and well maintained. We are planning a return next year - it really is the perfect site!

Fabulous weekend with 8 of us at Riverside lakes. Kelly and the Family are super friendly and helpful. The space between pitches and the layout of the space is sublime. We have already rebooked for our friendship weekend next year. The kitten cuddles added to the magic!

What a wonderful looking camping site. Fr9m the moment you walk through the gates you feel the stress of everyday life fall away. It is relaxing, welcoming and very well run place. There is a great little shop and the facilities around here are great for campers, with an undercover area where you can meet, sit, relax, charge your phone, chat, paint and so much more. A great little area. The whole site has a relaxed feel about it, with plenty of space around and great looking facilities. Well worth a camping trip amd lots to do around the area.
