The ground floor kitchen has an electric cooker, hob, dishwasher and fridge-freezer, so you can cook proper meals. A small enclosed courtyard with garden furniture sits outside, and there's parking for one car on site. One dog stays free. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are all included.

The property sits in North Dorset countryside within reach of Shaftesbury, a market town known for Gold Hill and its independent shops and cafes. Hod and Hambledon hills offer walks with Iron Age hillforts; further south, the Jurassic Coast is accessible for fossil hunts and clifftop paths. Poole Harbour and local villages like Cerne Abbas make for day trips. No smoking inside, and you'll need to depart by 10:00 on checkout day.
