Lower Barrowfield Farm

Beaminster sits in rural Dorset with a working landscape around it—the village itself has independent shops, restaurants and pubs within walking distance, plus gardens and galleries that draw visitors year-round. Lower Barrowfield Farm is a substantial farmhouse sleeping ten across five bedrooms and four bathrooms, available as a whole property rental. The ground floor has a double bedroom with ensuite shower, a separate toilet, and interconnected living and dining spaces with access to the garden. Upstairs are four further bedrooms: a kingsize ensuite, a double, a twin ensuite, and a zip-and-link room that can be configured as either a kingsize or two singles. The kitchen is fitted with a gas range, electric oven, two fridge-freezers, dishwasher and coffee machine, alongside a breakfast area.

Outside, an enclosed garden wraps around the property with patio seating, a barbecue and a six-person hot tub. Parking accommodates five cars. The essentials—heating, electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels—are covered, and there's a travel cot and highchair for younger guests. Smoking is not permitted. The property works well for extended family gatherings, milestone celebrations or groups of friends seeking a rural base; Ecotone is nearby for those interested in galleries and local makers.
