Upstairs, the first floor holds a bedroom with two single beds, while the second floor bedroom has a double bed. One bathroom serves the whole property. The essentials—electricity, bed linen, wifi and heating—are covered, with the woodburner already stocked with initial fuel.

On the ground, a patio with garden furniture and a barbecue overlook the working beef farm. There is parking for two cars on site. The cottage sits in Marshwood Vale, roughly halfway between Lyme Regis and Bridport, close enough to reach the Jurassic Coast's shale cliffs within minutes but set back far enough to feel properly rural. Walking starts from the doorstep into the Vale, or you can head toward the coastal paths and fossil beaches nearby. Charmouth is three miles away. The property takes one well-behaved pet and does not allow smoking.
