Rawlsbury Lodge

Rawlsbury Lodge is a single-storey property that comes ready for use. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, along with initial logs for the wood burner. The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer, so you can cook properly rather than making do. Cleaning is covered by a washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility room.

The open-plan living space has a wood burner, a smart TV and bi-fold doors opening onto a decked area where a four-person hot tub sits among garden furniture and a BBQ. One bedroom holds a king-size bed with an ensuite shower; the other has a zip-and-link bed that splits into two single beds on request. Both have heated towel rails. A second bathroom serves the second bedroom. Parking for three cars comes with the property, and a travel cot and highchair are available if you ask.

The lodge suits families, groups of friends or couples wanting a break in Dorset countryside. A stream runs through the grounds. The Jurassic Coast and its beaches are within reach by car. Smoking is not permitted.
