Keepers Cottage

East Burton sits in the heart of Thomas Hardy Country, positioned between Swanage and Weymouth with quick access to some of Dorset's most dramatic coastline. Keepers Cottage is a characterful 1800s property furnished with antique pieces and railway memorabilia, offering three bedrooms and three bathrooms across two storeys. The ground floor contains a living and dining room with exposed beams and wooden floors, a kitchen equipped for cooking from scratch, and a utility room. Upstairs, a kingsize bedroom, a double, and a triple room each have their own ensuite.

The cottage sleeps seven and comes with bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi included. You have the whole property to yourselves, with private parking for two cars and an enclosed gravelled courtyard where you can eat outdoors. A pub and restaurant sit just 500 yards away; shops and a bakery are within a mile in the nearby village of Wool, which also has a railway station. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door lie five miles south. Swanage, four and a half miles northeast, offers beaches, boat trips and a steam railway; Monkey World and the Tank Museum are close by for rainy days.

The cottage has steep spiral stairs and does not permit smoking. Check-in is after 3pm and checkout before 10am.
