Marshwood Manor Cottages - The Grain Store

Marshwood Manor's 10-acre estate sits deep in rural Dorset, yet the Jurassic Coast is only a short drive away. Lyme Regis, Charmouth, West Bay and the Golden Cap cliffs lie within five to ten miles, making this a genuine base for exploring one of England's most dramatic stretches of coastline. The grounds themselves—woodland, pasture and formal gardens—give you space to roam between beach trips, with a stream running through the property.

The Grain Store is a converted farm building with three bedrooms (a kingsize, a double and a single) and one bathroom. Downstairs holds a living room with a woodburner, a kitchen/dining room with a cooker, dishwasher and washer-dryer, and French doors onto the garden. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, along with parking on site. A games room with table tennis is shared with other cottages on the estate. The whole place is yours alone—no other guests—and one well-behaved dog stays free.

It suits families wanting countryside walks and beach days in equal measure, or anyone drawn to fossil hunting and coastal scenery. No smoking indoors. Check-in is after 15:00, checkout before 10:00.
