This 200-year-old cottage near Chiswell is a short walk from Chesil Beach and the coastal path that curves around Portland's Jurassic cliffs. One well-behaved dog stays free. The house has three bedrooms—a double, two singles in one room, and a pull-out single in another—plus a single room on the first floor, and a single bathroom with bath and shower. It sleeps six. Ground floor holds the kitchen (electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave), a living and dining room with woodburner, and a utility room with washing machine.

Essentials are covered: electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen, and towels included, along with the initial fuel for the fire and parking for one car outside. The courtyard has garden furniture. Shops, pubs and restaurants are within 300 yards. The area suits families, walkers and water sports enthusiasts—Weymouth's Blue Flag beach, fishing, windsurfing and diving are all nearby. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. No smoking or vaping in the property.
