Couples and small families—particularly those with dogs—will find The Victorian Barn - Stable a straightforward base for a Dorset countryside break. The converted cottage sits on working farmland near Woolland and comes as your own space: two bedrooms (one double, one with twin singles), a shower room, and an open-plan living area and kitchen on the ground floor. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all included.

The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with an electric oven and hob alongside the usual appliances. Out the back is an enclosed garden with a patio and seating, plus your own hot tub for six. Beyond that, the site offers shared facilities: an indoor heated swimming pool (12.5m × 6m), a games room with pool table and table tennis, a sauna, badminton court and children's play area. There's also free fishing on-site and space for two cars. Note that the grounds contain three fenced lakes; children must be supervised at all times.

Dorset's coast and villages are within reach for day trips, and the working farm setting means there's genuine countryside quiet. Smoking is not permitted, and dogs stay free.
