West Pepperpot Lodge suits couples seeking a self-contained base on a working estate. The single bedroom holds a double bed, and there's an ensuite with shower. Everything is on the ground floor, reached by two steps to the entrance. A wood-burning stove heats the living room; the kitchen is fitted with an electric cooker, dishwasher and fridge-freezer, so you can prepare meals to your own schedule. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. One car can park on site.
The lodge sits within the 5,500-acre St Giles Estate, where guests have access to the parkland (though some areas have restricted access). The grounds include a lake and river. Wimborne St Giles lies nearby. Smoking is not permitted indoors. This is a place to slow down rather than sightsee; the appeal lies in the space, the quiet, and being able to come and go without shared hallways or communal areas.

We arrived as requested 12 noon to find that the cottage heating had not been put on, we were freezing, and as wedding guests, we changed from our warm winter clothes into requested cocktail outfits, not a pleasant welcome.

This is an idyllic retreat for us and is so peaceful with only the sounds of nature. The lodge is quaint and has everything you need. There are plenty of places to walk and explore with the New Forest not far away.

Absolutely perfect cottage - cosy, quiet and really well equipped. Plenty of nice walks and places to visit so well located. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely couple of days here, on what was due to be our wedding day here which had to be postponed like many others. The cottage was beautifully cozy and the bed linen and towels were luxurious. It was fitted out so thoughfully and was so peaceful it was a joy to relax in. Thank you!!
