The Riding House

The grounds of St Giles House, a 5,500-acre estate near Wimborne, hold this substantial manor restored in 2018. Large groups or extended families find The Riding House designed for them: eight bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, sleeping 18 across the property entirely to yourselves. Eight kingsize beds are distributed through the rooms, individually designed, with Egyptian cotton bedding and robes provided. Every bathroom includes a roll-top bath and walk-in shower, heated towel rails and separate toilet facilities.

The ground floor contains a kitchen with electric oven and hob for proper cooking, and a dining room for everyone to gather. Upstairs, two living spaces provide places to spread out: one with a smart TV and Bluetooth speaker, another quieter sitting area. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included, and there is private parking for more than ten cars on site. The 5,500 acres are shared with other properties though access is limited to certain areas.

Wimborne town sits within reach for shops and restaurants. One dog is welcome. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
