Dumbretton Cottage

Dumbretton Cottage works well for families wanting rural space, or couples after a quieter break—the whole property is yours alone. It sleeps six across three bedrooms: a double and single in one room, a double in another, and a single in the third. Everything is on the ground floor, which matters if anyone has mobility concerns. There's one bathroom with a shower, and an external utility room with a tumble dryer if you need it.

The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering: electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge mean you can cook as much or as little as you want. The living room has a TV and DVD player. Oil central heating keeps things warm, and wi-fi is included. A cot and highchair are available if you're travelling with young children.

The cottage sits within a 400-acre working farm near Annan in Dumfries and Galloway. You get private parking for two cars and access to the grounds. The hot tub is a draw if you want to relax after a day out. Smoking is not permitted. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
