Dumfries and Galloway

Kirkcudbright sits on the Solway coast with a working harbour, a high street lined with galleries and independent shops, and a calendar of festivals throughout the year. Robin's Nest is a converted barn on open farmland just outside the town, giving you countryside quiet while the gallery cafés and restaurants are within walking distance. The cottage has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, sleeping up to eight people, making it suitable for extended families or groups sharing a break.
The ground floor contains a spacious living room with a wood burner, a kitchen and dining area with room for everyone to gather, and two bedrooms with a choice of bed configurations. Three further bathrooms serve these rooms. Upstairs, two more bedrooms include one with its own ensuite. The essentials are covered—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are provided, along with initial logs for the stove. There is private parking for two cars and an electric charging point on site. The property has a garden with seating areas.
The Galloway Hills are visible from the cottage. Kirkcudbright itself, known locally as the Artist's Town, has MacLellan's Castle within its boundaries. No smoking indoors.

Three cottages in a very peaceful location yet only 1 mile from the shops and facilities in Kirkcudbright. A great location for exploring the area.

Very well equipped cottage in beautiful location, walking distance to the friendly town of Kirkcudbright. Donald was very quick to help too. Kids loved watching the cows over breakfast!
