Kerrim Cottage

Ringford is a small village positioned between two major draws: the Solway Coast with its sandy beaches and rocky headlands to the south, and Galloway Forest Park's inland expanses to the north. Kerrim Cottage sits here as a terraced property, giving you a full self-catering base for exploring either direction. The cottage has two bedrooms (one double on the ground floor, one twin upstairs), a shower room, and sleeps four.

The ground floor centres on a combined living and kitchen space where you can cook while keeping an eye on the rest of the room. Upstairs, there's a second bedroom with two single beds. Essentials are covered: electricity, bed linen, towels and WiFi are included. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. There's a utility room with a washing machine, bike storage on site, and a rear garden area with seating. The cottage does not allow smoking.

Walking and cycling dominate most visitors' itineraries here. Coastal routes lead to Kirkcudbright, an estuary town known for its independent shops, cafés and art scene, with a working harbour and castle nearby. Inland, the forest offers its own trail network, including the 7Stanes mountain bike routes for those after something more technical. On road parking is available at the property.
