The Curve at Caerlaverock Estate

The Curve is a single-bedroom lodge on the Caerlaverock Estate, sleeping up to four. Everything happens on one level: an open-plan living space with a woodburner, a kitchen fitted with gas oven and electric hob, a bedroom with a king bed and two pull-down single beds (for children), and a bathroom with bath and shower. Bi-fold doors open from the living area and kitchen onto the garden. Electricity, bed linen, towels and logs for the woodburner are provided; the property runs on solar power with USB charging points, and has no standard 13-amp outlets.

Outside, a private terrace and patio face the view, with garden furniture and a fire pit. The wood-fired hot tub, which seats two, sits in the garden. Parking for two cars is private. The lodge is non-smoking and welcomes one pet. The setting overlooks the Solway Estuary towards the Lake District, on open hillside with minimal neighbours on the estate.
