Cross the threshold of The Treehouse @ Caerlaverock and you step into an open-plan space where living, dining and sleeping occupy a single room under the eaves. A double bed sits at one end; a wood-burning stove, kitchen and dining area at the other. The walk-in shower and toilet are tucked behind, completing the layout. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the estuary and surrounding trees. The cabin sleeps two, and comes with bed linen, towels and fuel for the stove. Solar panels and mains electricity power the space.
Outside, a private hot tub sits in the front garden on the Caerlaverock Estate, where woodland paths wind through the grounds. The estate lies near Dumfries in Dumfries and Galloway, on the Solway Coast. A car park accommodates two vehicles. Check-in is after 4pm, check-out before 10am. Smoking is not permitted inside; the property is for adults only.

Absolutely stunning!! Had an amazing stay. Nestled amongst the trees with nothing but birds chirping around us, it was so peaceful and just what we needed. The treehouse itself was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you'd need - there is only usb ports and not plugs in the treehouse so bring plenty! The bed was sooo comfy, had the best sleep. Waking up in the morning onto the balcony and watching the squirrels running around the trees was lovely. The hottub was amazing too. Would love to come back. We took a little drive to explore, would recommend visiting caeverlock castle and surrounding areas. Overall, a fabulous stay in a beautiful, unique treehouse.
