Friendly, welcoming. Clean, tidy, daily towel change. Nice shower. Great value. Convenient location, close to shops, M90.. About 20mins drive from Edinburgh Airport. 24 access. Good parking. Close to Asda and petrol. But: Creaky bed. Thin walls, a bit of nbr room noise. Radiator not working, but heated towel rail effective. Very bumpy pot holed driveway.

So I've learned my lesson that after spending 11 days in Scotland at nice Airbnb's and hotels that I shouldn't book a lesser establishment on the last night just because we have to get up early and hit the airport. I really regretted booking this hotel because it was so depressing that it was our final thing to see before we got on a plane. The staff was very friendly but the room was sad. No pictures or decoration. Hard floor. Small TV. The bar was empty with nobody serving anything. It just seemed sad.

Great private hotel in a lovely wooded area. Close to bus and train routes to Glasgow, Edinburgh, St Andrews etc, we were using public transport. Breakfast was very good, bed was very comfy and a really good shower. We especially liked the two chairs in our room. Very upbeat proprietor. Would recommend and use again. Cheers 😁😁
