About Meadow View Glamping

Nights under the stars, days on woodland trails and mealtimes on your wooden deck overlooking northwest Fife's countryside – Meadow View Glamping delivers the rural retreat many crave. The luxury self-catering cabins feature private hot tubs, well-equipped kitchens and TVs, plus low light pollution for spectacular stargazing. Reviewers consistently praise the spotless facilities and peaceful atmosphere, though some find prices a touch steep for what's on offer.

Each pod sleeps families comfortably (day-bed bedding costs extra), and there's an on-site sauna to book on arrival. The surrounding woodlands beg for exploration on foot or bike, while Powmill village – a half-hour stroll – has a shop and café for provisions. Craving more adrenaline? Knockhill Racing Circuit sits just five minutes away, offering track days and driving experiences.

What a gorgeous place to stay. Beautiful views over the hills and valley. Spotless facilities with a powerful, hot shower and a sauna! Kay and her family are excellent hosts, friendly, inviting and helpful. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely visit again if my travels bring me this way. Thanks for a lovely time.

We booked this log cabin to celebrate my 21st birthday. Only my partner and I stayed overnight, but family came for a couple of hours to help decorate and celebrate. From the start, the owner seemed unwelcoming and patronising, and it made us uncomfortable. After my family had finished eating outside and were leaving, the owner’s husband asked my dad for an additional 50 pounds because other people had visited. This came as a surprise, as nothing on the website mentioned an extra fee. When I politely asked about it, the explanation was that only two people were insured on the property, but this was never made clear beforehand. Both the owner and her husband spoke in a way that felt disrespectful and patronising, even to my mum. It’s a shame because the setting was lovely, but the attitude and unexpected charge really spoiled the experience. I suggest definitely don’t book unless you want to be disappointed.

We had a large group stay in May. Kay was super helpful and accommodating and it was nice to be able to chat through everything over the phone. We didn't really know what to expect but we're impressed by the standard of accommodations (we booked the whole site). We were able to book for a night (some others require 2 nights minimum). Location was nice on a hill with a view of the field and animals but conveniently close to Edinburgh but admist farmland to be able to be able for it to feel like sure in nature. I liked how there was campsites accomodations, a sauna, new hot tubs per pod. They fit 2 comfortably. The glamping pods were really clean and equipped with everything you night need. They dont allow camp fires but can bring your own BBQ or a disposable one which you can do in the area near the sauna. Bedding and towels included but you pay per hour to use the sauna, and per pod for use of the hot tubs. The sauna was especially handy when we were holding BBQ outside and it was quite rainy/chilly that day. They are gracious, friendly hosts who are happy to help. They live in the property so around if you need anything. The only constructive feedback was one of the hot tubs being cold so we couldn't use it. But the were newly installed so maybe we're still getting sorted out. And once you pay the balance, you can't make anymore changes - one of the people couldn't make it and I wasn't able to get that person's cost back (pods have 2 person capacity with a 3rd or 4th additional cost). And someone mentioned that for anyone talk, the bed wasn't long enough. I'd also suggest an earlier check-in and later check out as 3pm check in and 10am check out felt a bit rushed, like we didn't have enough time to enjoy our stay and do all the clean up. We were really conscientious cleaning up after ourselves and putting everything back in place (eg if bowls/plates/cutlery/utensil were borrowed from the 3 cabins) but I imagine not all groups would be so organised or able to do this. They were relaxed about noise and alcohol but we were a pretty tame and responsible group. There is a deposit per pod plus a £100 for any damages - refundable if nothing broken, to be aware of. Otherwise, we had a really nice experience. And they even decorated the couple to be married's room with petals and a couple bottles of bubbly with two glasses which was a really nice touch. And we're were allowed to hang out a bit after checkout in the playground area which gave us some time together and say goodbye. So overall, it was a positive experience! Thank you. Would recommend 🤗

My partner and I recently stopped at Meadow View Camping, and we were genuinely blown away by how wonderful the experience was. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt peaceful, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. The views were stunning, the facilities were spotless, and the whole place had such a relaxing charm that made it easy to unwind. The owner were friendly and helpful, and you can tell they really care about making sure guests have the best stay possible. Whether you’re looking for a quiet escape, a scenic spot to explore nature, or just a comfortable place to recharge. We absolutely loved our time here and would 100% recommend Meadow View Camping to anyone. We’ll definitely be returning! Thank you❤️🌿✨
