Nicely appointed public house in a historical city centre location. Good beer and spirits options. Can be busy and fairly vibrant at times. Good choice of pub meals and prices are very reasonable. Well staffed with food and drink brought to table in very quick time. The refillable coffee option was a winner with me personally! Recommended.

We were greeted by Louise one of the bar associates. She couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. When we got upto the room we were very pleasantly surprised by both the size of the room & the bathroom. Beds were so comfortable too. Plenty of tea, coffee & chocolate together with biscuits. There was a hairdryer & ironing board & iron also. A great place to stay in Dunfermline

Awful service! I came to the pub with my family, which included my elderly grandparents and a puppy. We sat at the tables outside and ordered drinks and food via app (paid for it straight away). When the lady brought us drinks she told us that dogs aren't allowed on the premises, which can be understandable, if explained in a nice manner. Not every place is dog friendly, however majority at least allows for dogs to stay outside. We advised her that's ok and that one of us will stay with the dog on the street (outside pub's premises!), while the rest of the family sits at the table and enjoys the food. However, she was ready to argue hiding behind typical non-explainatory excuse of "a company policy". We tried to talk to her to try to understand why one of us with dog can't stay out on the street while the rest sits at the table (WITHOUT THE DOG!) but she just said "it's not allowed". As a joke we asked what isn't allowed, staying with the dog on the street? To which she advised if we do it, everyone can do it. Ridiculous!! She basically told us to leave by saying she will issue the refund for the order. No empathy for the seniors who were tired and hungry, but hey at least I will get refund for the food I didn't get to eat!

Drinks are always delivered fast and well made. Food is always hot and tasty! The front of house staff, Saul (long hair), is very friendly and gives good chat if you’re looking for it! Can’t wait to come back!
