About The Cedars Guesthouse
The Cedars Guesthouse occupies a former farmhouse dating from the early 1800s, set just a couple of minutes' walk from the centre of Builth Wells with views out over the Wye valley. The seven bedrooms are individually decorated and comfortably furnished, giving the guesthouse a personal, homely character rather than a standardised hotel feel.
Guests have the use of a relaxing library bar and a small restaurant serving home-cooked evening meals, alongside a full breakfast each morning using local produce. Free parking and Wi-Fi are provided throughout.
Its position within easy walking distance of the shops, pubs and market of Builth Wells, and close to the Royal Welsh Showground, makes it a convenient and comfortable choice for visitors who prefer a smaller, more personal style of accommodation.

What guests say
Lovely guest house, Jackie was so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was very clean, modern and spacious. Jackie was very accommodating, providing us with information on the best places to east (The Lorne) and making sure we were comfortable. We will definitely be back!

What a joy staying at The Cedars! The room was well appointed, with fresh milk available for teas/coffees. The breakfast choices, care and accommodation to my preferences was fantastic and with everything freshly prepared and cooked it was a great start to each day. Our host, Jacqui was enthusiastic and helpful in her recommendations and the views over the water are gorgeous. We highly recommend this guesthouse for anyone in the area!

I recently visited the Argyll area and my guide recommended Cedars Guest House. Jackie was a very welcoming hostess. My accommodations were fantastic and the view from my room was gorgeous. She made me a lovely Scottish breakfast each morning. A cute little garden in the front.
