Willow Cottage is a single-storey property within Hillcrest Country Park, near Richmond. Everything spreads across one floor: an open-plan living and dining space connects to a fully equipped kitchen, with two bedrooms and a shower room completing the layout. One bedroom has a king-size bed, the other two singles. The living area contains a smart TV and electric fire for cooler evenings.
The kitchen is set up for self-catering, with an electric oven, hob, microwave and fridge-freezer. Essentials including bed linen, towels, wi-fi and electricity are covered. Outside, there's a patio with garden furniture and parking for two cars on site. One dog stays free. The property is non-smoking.
The cottage sits within countryside between Richmond and Barnard Castle, with the Yorkshire Dales accessible for day trips. It works well for families or groups of four wanting a straightforward base without stairs.

Stayed in one of the cottages after a very last minute booking on good Friday after our original booking elsewhere was deemed unsuitable by ourselves. The cottage was lovely and warm and it appears that a lot of the oven ware and utensils had just been renewed. Well equipped in all aspects the beds were especially comfortable. The one negative? The internal doors wouldn't close on the latch. Therefore, when ever the wind got up they banged against the doorframe. The site though busy was still very quiet and tranquil. Well presented and maintained.

Lovely private feeling retreat. Very Nice hosts. A memorable trip for all the right reasons. A lot of effort went into setting this up ,many thanks to Kate and Ed Breakfast on the decking in the sunshine was great, supper on the patio with the gas heater a real treat. You will love it here.

Had a lovely week in the Ivy Cottage. The location is peaceful and quiet, yet it is convenient for the Dales or the North Yorkshire Moors. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was adequately equipped. The only thing that caused concern was a drain in the shower being unable to handle full flow. Otherwise everything was fine and exceeded our expectations.
